Pita 5000m 'crownless' watch arrives in Singapore today - 27102011

Late this morning, I received a sms from Sugi (Red Army Watches) asking if I am free to attend a lunch with Pita barcelona, a watch maker member of AHCI. The highlight of the event is a 5000m dive watch WITHOUT crown.

Pita Carousel

The Pita Carousel is an automatic watch with 12-hour self axis rotating movement.

The driving wheel shaped rotor on the front shows the watch mechanics on the dial and not through the back of the case.

Pita Carousel uses a Pita-002 movement which features a patented Pita-TSM system.

Dimensions : 40 mm

Material availability : 18ct yellow/white/rose gold or platinum 950

This model is designed and handmade in Barcelona which is in numbered series and can be made to order.

Pita Molinos

The Pita Molinos is a handless minimalistic skeleton concept watch (currently in prototype status)

How do you tell time without traditional hands? The floating hour and minute wheels tells the time

The Pita Molinos uses a Pita-005 movement which also features Pita-TSM system.

Pita Molinos can be customizable using the various assortment of dials, straps and buckles.

This 2011 edition is limited to 5 pieces and can be made to order.

Pita Sol y Luna

The Pita Sol y Luna is a 24 hour timepiece in style. The sun and moo rise and fall is to distinguish morning and night. Like the Molinos, it is also in prototype status

The Pita Sol y Luna uses Pita-004 movement and also uses Pita-TSM system.

It features a oscillating minute hand like a pendulum moving left to right and right to left indicating the minutes.

This model is only available in 2012

Pita Minimal

Pita Minimal uses the Pita-001 movement which tells time through the use of 1 hand.

Less is more and it is an elegant dress watch.

Dimensions : 40mm Height : 6 mm
