anyone any advice or views on this watch? i haven't physically seen it yet but was told that it's in mint condition and all the sales pitch. most importantly, how much should I pay for a pre-owner one? i read from bro triton that b-watches lose its value quite readily due to ever-changing designs. should i even in the first place contemplate to get it or save up a bit more and plunge for the polar II.

decisions, decisions, decisions. btw, pls do NOT suggest that I get both cos that would potentially create a tsunami in tampines. Thanks a million.
yes, breitling lose resale value fast. secondly, after hearing some advice from pet, i have to agree with him. pre-own rolex are always there, it is just a matter of when there is a good price that comes along.

my advice is when buying a pre-own rolex, do take note of its series. from the series, check out the price it was selling then. then you can 'calculate' the depreciation price and hence the current buying price.

example. a Z-series sub prior to latest price increase was listed @ 7931. discount was probably about 5-10%. so the buyer probably paid in the region of 7200-7930 *assuming no discount given*

with this information if anything between 6800-7200 is considered a good deal. anything above 7200 i would give it a miss.

another important consideration also to take note is country code, if watches from HK, Japan, Dubai, the buying price could even be lower than that of 7200. so you will need to lower the buying price downwards say about another 5% or so.

I thought there was a B2 for sale? The $ was further reduced. Check out our Pte sale thread. Good luck.
