    I think Triton brought up a very valid and important point to consider when choosing a watch brand and model. The desire to collect/keep/retain a particular watch somehow co-relates to how well the particular watch can withstand the test of time. I guess this is one critical success area of ROLEX.

    my personal experience with brietling is that it changes their designs every so often. so what you buy now, the design can be considered obselete in 3-4 years down the road.

    i got 2 breitling watches - one aerospace and another is what could be the colt series. white face with numerals.

    servicing cost about couple hundreds every 3 years.

    I got a Breitling Crosswind, black dial and pilot bracelet (2004), went to the website and found that it is discontinued already...

    One of the few that has roman numerics...
