  • IWC resale value

have painfully built up a collection of Rolex Sub LV, Rolex Datejust (mid-size for wifey) and PAM 312 over the past 2 years..

have always loved the look of IWC BP...however, i would like to know if IWC watches generally retain value well...

for example, a big price gap between pre-owned and bnib?

it very much depends on the length of time you hold on to a watch and where you buy from. current list price is about 21K. depreciation value is about 10-15% easily.

Yes, depreciation can be high (up to 40% from retail price) but doesn't apply to all model. Generally the Pilot line is retaining its value very well. Some preowned BP may be worth considering. Generally, the older 5002 is a bit higher in price than the more modern 5004.

why the 5002 is more expensive than 5004?? is it just bcos 5002 is vintage or something??

5002 is long gone, no more in production.

                Hi,

I'm looking at PORTUGUESE HANDWOUND. Is the handwound means it is manual?

                Thanks

For IWC watches, I think IWC BP has the best resale value.

Really depends on which model... I personally like the pilot models and think they have better resale retention.
