Called up the Omega boutique and price increase is confirmed from 1st April
Overseas forums (esp USA based ones) have been talking of price increase from 1st March...
Anyway...for those who might be interested in buying brand new Omega watches, prob a good time to buy...soon.
    That includes me, of cos...
I heard from a friend who frequently buys new Omegas from ADs in Melbourne, that there was a huge price jump across the Omega range last month when he visited. He told me he has no ideas why. Does anyone?

Maybe at Midvalley Magamall...due to Ringgit & tax free?? How many discount will their AD give etc

Omega boutiques in Starhill and Pavilion KL offer 10% discount, other ADs offer 15% discount. According to my understanding, the prices in airport and outside are the same. Omega prices in Malaysia confirmed will increase from 1st April 2010.

Just collected my Broad Arrow GMT which arrived from Switzerland last week. Price which I paid fortunately was before the increase. So far no change in any of the prices.

So go to airport early and grab your omega on your way out.

Do call them to check if they carry your desired model.
Yeah Airport Omega Boutique gives a pretty good deal. I was quoted 15% the last time I was there. The Boutique sales folks say that it is a standard discount. So coupled with 7% GST off, its about 23%. This was in January 2010

Do note that discounts may also vary depending on the model you are looking at.

Yeah. They do give freebies like Omega Bag and some other things thou. However, to me, price is king. Still waiting for my watch to come in at THG thou.
