    Hi all,

i am currently looking at omega planet ocean (2210.51.00 or 2201.50.00) or speedmaster pro (3570.50.00)

Tai Hong Hung at people park's complex offered me the following prices
    a) 2210.51.00 @ 4.5k cash (or issit 4.5k for 2201.50.00, i m not too sure but its the slimmer unit that she offered me at 4.5k)
    b) 3570.50.00 @ 4.1k cash

both prices are after app 17% discount. Hopefully my aunt who know the lady boss there can get more discount from her. issit worth buying if my aunt can squeeze up to 25% from her? hehe i prefer planet ocean though it cost slightly more.

My aunt whose fren works at of Marc Brokeage @ people park's complex said that he could get me a brand new 2210.51.00 (with cert & box) at around 3.2k cash if i am willing to wait.

or does cortina offer better prices?

FOC....just sent in to check water reistance and accuracy that's all...cos i bought the PO preowned...so might as well utilize the warranty. According to the technician, watch is totally ok (2 yrs old only) so no need to service. i was advised that if i really want to service it..should send it in when it's 4-5 years old...i was also advised to wind the watch once/twice a week cos i normally rotate my watches...

    polishing cost $80 though...

    cheers

    james

i was at Omega SC 2 days back..sent my PO in to test the water resistance and read the Omega catalogue...i think list price is $6K+...i'm not too sure because they've so many versions of Speedy...if you've a chance, you can collect the catalogue there cos it shows you the prices of all Omega ranges...you name it, you get it...

    sorry can't help much here...

    cheers

currently, discount is pretty stiff. most AD would offer pretty standard discount.

hi teo, if u are not too bothered abt weight, get the Ti.
I find the SS is a bit "too heavy", Ti weight is just right for me. Right now I'm wondering what would be the reasonable price to get??

In that case, what would be the reasonable price for the Ti w/o box and paper?

Both design is the same for Ti and SS, however the SS is 60 gram heavier than the TI. He is looking at S$2,800 for the SS model but no box and paper too.
