Since there is a thread about this, I guess I will just continue where Tunge has started...

Was invited and went to the last day of the private event that started at 7pm...

Meet up with fellow Ristis and get to "molest" a couple of the 2014 models there...

Nice set up with ample space to roam about and view the watches at the showcase plus how they make their ceramic casing and live demonstration of the watch technician working on couple of their in-house movements, 8 days p2002 caliber, plus a close up view of their tourbillon p2005 caliber...GORGEOUS!

Didnt managed to snap a lot of pic as too busy talking, drinking and munching plus obscene "molesting" of some of the fine pieces, but managed to take some...

          White anyone?

This is one beautiful piece which requires an obscene amount of dough to make it yours...

The weight of the platinium is awesome and the sapphire case back showing off the Minerva movement is simply captivating...

              LUMINOR 1950 CHRONO MONOPULSANTE LEFT-HANDED 8 DAYS TITANIO – 47MM

              Special Edition of 300pcs...

Lovely piece...didn't think I can pull off a 47mm...but this is very comfortable and being a titanium piece, the weight is barely noticeable...

I love the fact that they still input the 3 and 9 in the dial even though the sub dial are in that position too...gives the dial a more balance look in my opinion...it's possible maybe due to the larger case plus the smaller movement...only the lucky 300 will own this piece...lovely...

                Pam 569

                LUMINOR 1950 SUBMERSIBLE LEFT-HANDED TITANIO -47mm

                Special Edition 1000pcs...

This is the one I need to see in person and I am happy that I get to "caress" one in the metal, or titanium. In the pics and press release photos, the dial look "dead" or unsuitable for the 47mm casing and it seems that its trying to be the big brother of the 25 with the hobnail dial BUT! It is simply awesome...the dial works nicely with the 1950 casing and 47mm size...surely the winner in my book...and only the lucky 1000 owners can now brag about their destro sub (which Panerai doesn't really produce except twice before this for Chronopassion, a boutique in Paris).

                  Pam 564

                  LUMINOR MARINA 8 DAYS TITANIO - 44MM

Limited Production of 1500pcs (numbers as of now)

Among the numbers of Special Edition Panerai has successfully launched this year, to me (yes my own opinion) the winner is still the newer revamped regular limited production pieces, power packed with their manual winding 8 days power reserved...

With the newer in-house movement, the bettarini casing is slightly simmer/thinner than the current ones using ETA movement...not that much, close to about 1mm, but significant enough to be felt...

And talking to a fellow Risti, he pointed out that the font is the original font used in the vintage preV Panerais...now that's awesome!

And this...this one...could be my next Panerai...(still undecided between the 562 or 564 and the price difference of $500 is making the decision even harder)

Mine was a Pam jacket LOL.... But I agree, the Chrono (518, 519, and 520) looks very amazing.
