    Why only 1000pcs?

Originally when it was announced during SIHH 2014, the production numbers will be limited to 1500 but that was just a ballpark estimated figure.

Not until actual production takes place then they can confirm the number of pieces they will produce.

Well it looks like a good number...500 lesser than the initial plan. And typically titanium Luminors are lesser than their SS brothers.

Don't worry for them too much, they'll produce another 1000pcs next year if it's not a SE.

Correct. Like what Bro Dino said, this is a regular limited production piece which means next following year could be another 1000pcs.

And you are correct too Bro p1723 that it won't be easy to see another 564 on the streets as typically Ti Pams are not as common as SS ones and from afar, its really hard to know exactly what model is on the wrist of the owner and with Panerai producing more and more "similar" pieces, its near impossible unless you grab the owner's wrist and stare at his/her Pam.

Just enjoy the 564. Its an awesome piece.

I mean pics that shows the lovely brown dial...its often very hard to capture...

Its just that in the Ristis world, the word tobacco is often use to describe the brown dial...

Was invited and went to the last day of the private event that started at 7pm...

Meet up with fellow Ristis and get to "molest" a couple of the 2014 models there...

Nice set up with ample space to roam about and view the watches at the showcase plus how they make their ceramic casing and live demonstration of the watch technician working on couple of their in-house movements, 8 days p2002 caliber, plus a close up view of their tourbillon p2005 caliber...GORGEOUS!

Didnt managed to snap a lot of pic as too busy talking, drinking and munching plus obscene "molesting" of some of the fine pieces, but managed to take some...

                              White anyone?

Why white not many, ppl dont like or just play safe, maybe not nice from ppl point view.

Its not don't like (most of the time I have seen one, is on a lady wrist)...maybe just playing it safe (think resell value)...

For me, its nice to look at but I won't buy one...maybe because Panerai being heavily connected to its history roots, there's no historic Panerai reference with a white dial...

Typical historic Panerais are black and some due to age, dial becomes brown...So my ideal Panerais are black or tobacco brown...only once did I had a blue dial Panerai..and it doesn't stick around for long...
