		The police is taking their time to 'investigate". Guess these are non-important cases.

 My understanding of this case is: It is a case of cheating and the case exhibit(s) should be seized for police investigation.  Only until the case is solved, can the exhibit be returned to owner(s) or disposed off by a Court order.
