Anyone thought of using our army days ammo pouch cloth type material as straps?

Just an idea that I had for a long while to use as watch strap and since I'm waiting for the arrival of my PAM000 this strap bug kinda of bitten me again... anyone seen it before? If not wonder if any possibility to custom make it...

i have a green canvas strap, similar to the green canvas pouch material. would be nice if you can get someone to custom make it (possibly local JnR strap maker)

not stiff as the canvas is sewn onto a leather backing. feels like a standard leather strap. should soften with time.

this is my favourite canvas strap (double sided) but i don't know who makes it. anyone have any idea?

That strap is by mustang straps, they have other colors as well. I also love that strap, wonder will it look as good on my helson bronze.
