Euro prices are most attractive now (weak euro $ plus vat refund). In the UK you can also get refund.

Do you know. Singapore is one of the most expensive cities to stay in the world. Only food is cheap. The rest is expensive. Not only for Panerai. Abercrombie and Fitch for example, USD60.00 vs SGD120 for RRP classic polo tee. It will cost even less say USD $24.99 if you buy the same A&F polo tee at the US outlet.

          1. After the agent fee, rebate usually around 13%. Different price rebate different rate.

          2. Most AD don't usually give discount in EU. Especially the more popular models.

          3. 1.55 is bank rate. When u sign card, the rate is much worst. Unless you can get good rates from money changer by changing large amount, most people will use card. Need to consider the model you want may not be available.

But getting 10k euro stuck in hand may not be a bad thing though.

Some points to consider for those going EU.

Also got to consider whether to take the tax rebate in cash or card.

Price is definitely better than Singapore after rebate.

I suggest to look at some sg grey dealers price before going.

for watch freaks, it's definitely a good opportunity to pick up some good bargains in Europe especially if you are going for a short business trip.

Huh? I thought per person can only bring 1 watch? If someone going EU also cannot mass buy mah. Correct me if I'm wrong.

can buy as many as you want. just need to pay gst or the army way.

anything also can just dont get caught.

also panerai box is not like rolex size. imagine carrying 10 of those.

If considering general purchasing power to goods price, singapore is definitely one of the top.
                      low purchasing power to pay.

To be exact...any value bring into sg more than either 400 or 800 I can't remember....u must pay gst. U can bring in more, if get caught by custom...it's tax evasion. It's a crime. U can't do anything but dont get caught by custom.

Europe is quite jiat lat right now. They will jump at the chance to sell you more watches. Like 10 Panerais (cannot choose model), with 20% discount then 13% VAT rebate.

You can take the watches back into Singapore first. And have them ship you the boxes later. I don't think buy empty boxes got GST.

20% discount & 13% vat sounds so good.

                            Cannot choose model no good.

I think there are more chances to see more popular models now.
