I guess the dynamics with HK's auction differs significantly from that of internet trading buy & sell. The close proximity to China market and the chinese demand for luxury brands sustain these data.

    Tks for sharing.

Maybe someone should start a ROC forum in chinese operating out of China. Or there is already one.

Well you are right. So more n more watch brands are setting up new outlets/boutiques in 1st/2nd tier cities!

It's a matter of time the Chinese government would reduce taxes on luxury goods to spur domestic spending instead of Chinese buying overseas. Also some kind of tax refund for foreign visitors may be possible in future.

I think what golanheights wants next time is a comparison between how Panerai watches fare in auctions from Sotheby's, to Christies to Antiquorum to Auktionen Dr. Crott (http://www.uhren-muser.de/en/online.html?). Frankly, so do I!
Owned: IWC Rose Gold 1993 Jubilee, JLC Squadra GMT, Pam 372, Pam...

Another upcoming auction by Antiquorum Friday October 19, 2012 in HK.

Not many Panerai watches but lots of very nice Patek watches
