Di Stefano Straps (more popularly known as 'Simona Straps') is probably one of the most well-know strap makers for aftermarket Panerai straps. Simona straps are 100% handmade in Florence, Italy, using premium quality Italian calf leather
The strap you see here is the 1940s Bruno vintage 'Black Widow' strap, some calls it the 'Henry Ford' strap, as Henry Ford once famously said "you can have any colour so long as it's black".
This piece cost SG$230 (inclusive shipping fee to Singapore) at the time of this review (Jan 2013)
This strap is tightly-stitched with black thread, and made with premium Italian calf leather. The faint tanning smell proves it.
The dimension is 24/24 width, 125/75mm, 4mm thick and feels rather supple yet soft.
Notice the faint tint of distressing to the leather - it adds a nice subtle character to the strap, giving just a bit more personality than the usual typical black smooth calf leather. The fact that these straps are handmade means no two straps are identical - which makes it more unique than straps that are mass produced in factories
The Black Widow comes with the Simona-signed Pre-V sewn-in brushed buckle.
The profile is rather flat and of high quality finishing

The strap wears really comfortable on the wrist, as the leather is soft and supple.
Most importantly, it looks great on the 320 1950 case
