between a third party movement and a inhouse movement, i would choose the latter
since panerai has its own P2,3,9 cal., why are people still buying the decorated ETA?
price could be one factor, though a panerai fitted with P9 cal. are priced only slightly more than its ETA models with similar functions
eg pam 104 vs pam 312, eu$5,600 vs eu$6,000
the 312 with inhouse movement is only 7% more than the 104 with ETA movement
imagine this - 2 rolex submariner , one fitted with rolex inhouse 3135 cal. the other a rolex decorated ETA
priced 7% difference
which one will you choose?Last edited by skydweller_sg; 21-02-13, 05:57 PM.

I think 351 is the latest Pam with your needs, TI, tobacco dial and sandwich plus it's a 1950 case type which imo makes the pam stand out more albeit thicker.Originally posted by Sucram99 View PostThanks thanks...!!

118 boss, dont ask why, it's from the heart! Good luck, it's a good problem you have there.Originally posted by Sucram99 View PostHi PAM lovers....
....kindly comment.... Currently torn between 3 v beautiful Ti options.... Happy predicament...... 61 118 176...!!!!!
Presuming all being 'equal' in condition & freshly serviced..... Apart from price disparities...
What are the differences in these 3 babes?
I only know all should have tobacco dials....
Erm... How bout sausage OR sandwhich..? Cos a lil confused even with googling.... Im still lost.....
Any comments & help greatly appreciated
