Well, there may be some policy change or something which we are probably not updated about. Can those who are au fait come in and enlighten us?

gave up going to RSC Wet Market
since already verified at Top Hour $30 when i bought the watch, i took it for 2nd opinion at JW $53.50 to ascertain authenticity, no water intrusion, no corrosion inside, oil is ok and JW also did a pressure test so now i can swim with it.

this is partially true - due to frankens, centers are beginning to verify that the case number tallies with geneva records and match the watch in front of the watchmaker. i assume over time these records will be fully computerized and linked (at least) to all RSCs and maybe even RASCs.Originally posted by kohym View PostThe lady told me that Geneva is tightening its worldwide svc ctr on verificationas they want to encourage more to buy brand new watches.
some high priced (and many lower priced) frankens have slipped through this verification system without such a process.“Watches, no matter how much they cost, are better at telling time than making a person happy.†- Thomas J. Stanley

newbie here...
what is included in the ~$780 or $1k+ servicing? and this a general across the board servicing fees?
for a car 10K, 40K.... service includes different items, can this concept apply to rolex (or rather general lux watch) servicing or just standard until a certain milage?
