I trust ** watch in servicing but their lead time is 3 months for servicing and light polishing. Seems abit too long to over haul a watch. I've seen some of the threads here about 3rd party servicing and was fed with alot of 3rd party watchmakers information until I got confused.

Which is a reliable 3rd party repair shops which will not do funny things like swapping movements, bracelets etc. I've read some information here and got me worried.

How about those worn parts that need to be replaced? Will they use original Rolex parts so that it will not be rejected when the watch is brought into RSC in the future?

I was wondering how 3rd party watchmakers get original Rolex parts when owners need to trade in their parts like bezels before they are allowed to buy a new one.

And finally, which 3rd part watchmaker does good polishing jobs just like RSC standards? I do not like people over polishing watches that have light scratches. Thanks.
I don't think Rolex will sell any parts to third party watch makers or service centres.

There are various others but these 2 come heavily recommended.
Better google for their operating hours.

Just purchased a pre owned explorer 16570. It's running fine except for having a 'sticky' date window. The date doesn't jump when it turns 12. It gets kinda stuck halfway between the 2 digits. Even until 2am it's still stuck. Seems like the shop in lucky plaza is quite popular. Any idea how much it'll cost to get it serviced?

I usually go to JW Horology for servicing, but their repair time is long. Just goggle and you can find their contact details.

Some of the forum advertisers provide such service. You may want to check them out.

Happened to see this thread at TRF.

I am sure there are independents that does a good job but I have no encounters with any. So need to ask for opinions here.

That depends on how individuals perceive/value shop warranty.
