THG and most of the AD quoted $17k. I got mine around $16k. So I guess it's okay bah considering I buy from AD. SS Daytona black dial 116520. Quite proud and happy with it.

Besides i have notice grey dealers selling ard 14.2-14.8k for a brand new white dial. Black dial will be more. I rather pay a bit more and get a new. I was in the market looking for a black 116520 for the past 1mth...so these were my observation. some 6mth old units were going at 13.3-13.8k range as i have noted even in shops like hobbylinks...But in the end i pass all and hooted a YM2 TT. Daytona is not so rare now i feel....you can wait and get it. for me i wont pay 14+k for a used watch dont care if is LNIB or not.
    thanks for the advice...

thanks lots oceanklassik, tt's hw i see it too... i am not jumping at it as i dont see it as a particularly enticing deal... however, on the other hand, given tt 116520 always sell at a premium above msrp, its not a bad deal at all... perhaps i'll jus sit on it for a while n see if there are other comments... thanks for the gd advice, oceanklassik...

I think taking into consideration of what you have revealed on the watch, the price should be quite ok. I won't say it is cheap but reasonable. Let's just say, the previous owner/buyer might have bought it at retail price (about mid 15K) or even higher at premium, just 6 months ago.

I stand corrected but that's how I see it. I may not be an accurate source you can rely mainly on because I don't own a Daytona and can ill afford one at the moment. If you are in no hurry, let other members chip in first?

I'm not very familiar with this. I only recall having read that there was a change of bracelet clasp for the SS Daytona between the 'M' (2007-2008) and 'V' (2009-2010)series. Which means those models from 'V' series onwards should come with the new clasp. There's information on this in the forum. Try to search for it. As for the new QS, I am not sure.

It really depends - condition of the watch, accessories that come with it, etc. Use those threads I highlighted to you as a gauge. A little high probably. I'm not too sure.
