wondering whether can just walk in, get it certified within an hour or 2.

Authentication takes 30mins only... they do not give u any certification.

for me no difference because i WG material somemore i feel that YG abit to obvious, WG more subtle, but alot noticable compare to SS

OF course it's more subtle...well it depends on my needs and my collection also...if I already have a YG watch then I will get the WG 1 for certain places that you cannot let ppl know ur watch is expensive hahah

how do we tell from sight, between a WG daytona and a SS daytona ?

WG Daytonas come with a variety of dials,markers like Arabic,roman which is not available in SS.

While...SS Daytonas come in only 2 colours,black and white....and stick markers only.
