Will appreciate the knowledge experts to advise on the following:

For a BNIB 16610,

a) what is the general RRP in AD's like Hour Glass or Hung Hing?
b) How much discount will they normally give if you are a walk-in customer?


For a BNIB 16613 (blackface version),

a) what is the general RRP in AD's like Hour Glass or Hung Hing?
b) How much discount will they normally give if you are a walk-in customer?

For a LNIB/Preowned 16613 (blackface version),

a) How much does it cost?
b) Is the depreciation high between a BNIB and pre-owned version?

I am really no expert on the prices of submariners, but I hope I can help you in a small way.

The rrp of a ss submariner is $8,228 (from memory)
Local ADs used to give little or no discount
However if you purchased brand new from a parallel importer,
the price could be $7,000.

As regards depreciation, it could be the the market price a year
after versus your purchase cost. I have seen the price for a M
series being $6,300.

So if you have bought your watch from a local AD, it is going to be steeper.

i have heard SS is easier to buy and sell...while TT version tends to be harder???

Personally i like TT. SS is too common. unless is a true rolex fan or knows it. else the norm SS looks so similar to other model. i think SS is more unique. the gold is shiny and rocks man.having said so. i am using a GMT TT. am also looking at a submariner now. but still pondering which one because of budget. haha

Since you have the Stainless steel milgauss, why not consider the half gold sub.

i have bought my 16610 V-series recently.
got it @ a grey dealer (usualli got from this shop for my previous 2nd Rolex)
got it a brand new set (korean) for S$7400.
THG (NAC); when i ask for disc, this bl**dly salesgirl told me straight @ my face "for this model there is no disc, while took back the watch from my hand when i was looking @ the watch", straight away i walk out of the shop.
realli angry, it was like 'nbcb' feeling like kanna being look down.
anyway i happen to find this THG which have a last piece of 16610 v series in the show window retail price @ S$7440.
the rest of THG i believe its still @ S$8228.

anyway if u ok with not local set, can pm me den i intro you to the shop dat i buy from.

it's 8228 at local AD

was given slight discount of around 2%.. round down to 8k..
