the only difference is during warranty period if watch is open up by other watchmaker ,it may void the warranty..is it? just wanna know how much for datejust dial change but since can call up rsc and check den my question is answered...thks for all bro here for the info.
i reckon damage wise wont be too expensive. for those technicians, its probably a 10min job if that. if im not wrong, it is along the lines of:
remove back plate
remove crown
extract mov't
pull off hands
unscrew the dial lockscrews
remove dial
installation would be reverse naturally.

At Rsc, I doubt so but you can check it out with RSC. Nothing beat the word coming out from the horse mouth.
But you are free to do it outside rsc provided you are able to source the dial.
