For me, the only problem is the size or rather the proportion of the bezel vs the dial. YM in keeping to a 40mm case has a relatively small dial (no thanks to the oversized bezel). If u dont have a big wrist, it probably wouldnt matter.
Thanks. Size is OK though I used to bigger size such as PAM.

Solid gold is too bling. Also with that price range probably have other choices.

The blue dial of YM is love at first sight, but price is very close to the half-gold models that I also like. Then should I get the HG sub or gmt?
    Solid gold ym?

Thanks guys for your valuable feedbacks!
According to agent, the YM is more difficult to get as compare with GMT and SUB. Very often they just get 1 piece in a few months' time.

Since u have a black and white dial rolex
I'll go with blue yachtmaster. I have one in person and it's really impressive.

However a yachtmaster will have minimum residual value due to popularity compare to Gmt and sub. If u are buying to keep, then no issue.

U will not see many yachtmaster on the street too.

YM, with its blue dial is quite unique and has a wow factor in the flesh.. Platinum bezel compared with Sub's or GMT's ceramic bezel. That's a good choice in any collection!

Prefer blue sub tt. Love the blue n own one myself too. Compare gmt n sub side to side but final vote goes to sub. Unless is ym2 then maybe u can go for it. Price n look wise to me sub wins.

I prefer the GMT for its extra hand that comes in handy...

Is your Datejust II a stainless steel (SS) or half-gold (HG) version? You may want to add a HG ROLEX watch in your collection if the current ones are all in SS.

My choice will be the Submariner.

    started a topic Your choice?

    Your choice?

    Hi Guys,

Planning to get another Rolex, but hard to make a decision which one to get:

    1. 116713LN GMT Master II Black Gold/Steel
    2. 116613LB Submariner Blue Gold/Steel
    3. 116622 Yacht Master Blue Dial

What would be your choice? Any advice? Thanks.
