      good read.

I have to say I am a sucker for it...
or else rationally, I have no reason to pay so much for a rolex really.

the more I look at my GMT II, the more I have to agree with what the author writes about the key attributes. There is no other reason to buy a rolex.

My first luxury watch of of choice would have been an IWC.

haha... guess we are all suckers... if i never buy rolex... most prob my first luxury watch of choice would be a Breitling or Omega.. (dunno if you consider them luxury watches.. haha)

For Omega at least Swatch group categorize it under Prestige watches along with Blancpain, Breguet, Glashütte Original, Jaquet-Droz and Léon Hatot.

bro... since here is SROC, I suggest to rank according to Rolex lor...
oysterquartz > airking > steel oyster perpetual > jubilee datejust > .... blab blab blab

                          OR

                          by movement

Quartz > (AutoQuartz aka Kinetic) > Winding > Automatic > Regulator > Jumping Hour > Perpetual Calendar > Minute Repeater..... > Tourbillon

If use other brands, then "Rolex" will never be able to place high up...

                          Just my suggestion only...
