Are the words "Registered Design" engraved on the side of every Rolex case

Hi Bros,

when we remove the bracelet from the case, you will see the watch model number on the side of the case.

On the top of the watch model number, you will usually see the words "Registered Design" engraved on top.

Does this apply to all Rolex watches? or have you encountered a rolex watch without the words "Registered Design" engraved on the side?

some watches are engraved "Org Rolex Design" but my question is any case without the words, just the model number only.

found the answwer to my own question:-

all Rolex models with serial number 62xxxxx to approx 67xxxxx Do not have the words "Registered Design" because Rolex patent expired !

shortly after from the 7xxxxxx all have "Org Rolex Design" engraved in between the lugs

All models so you should be worried if your serial number is 62xxxxx to approx 67xxxxx and have the words "Registered Design" or "Org Rolex Design" engraved
