Thank u all for your kind advice. :applu
Just a last question, is there a difference getting a SD with or without the pinhole? In terms of re-sale value which is better?
Looking forward for your opinions...
Thanks!

GMT ceremic stnds out among all rolex pro series. can consider that..a little more pricy only but its more worth it..

I agree with Watcha, you really have to make sure the watch sits nicely on your wrist. Anyway happy shopping!

i also experienced similar sales tactics when i was new to rolex, the dealer tried to off-load his TT GMT2 at 9k! i was almost suckered into buying... but decided to get a sub instead... after a while traded the sub for something else...
IMHO, decide on something you like, then compare prices (from the garage and also other shops), coz its ok to change your mind and try sell it off w/o losing too much money.
only consider for "investment" if you lots of chump change

do not let what others tell you, if 2nd hand shop owner tells you to get a sub ND, it could be 1) cant sell and/or 2) trying to recover cash since not moving and/or 3) it is going to be a collector's item. why? one possible reason, the sub ND may have low production numbers compared to the more popular sub date, GMT II, explorer II.
you need to decide for yourself, some of these questions, once the following questions are answered, you have possibly left with 1 choice.
rank the priorities,
1) resale value
2) brand new or second hand
3) looks on your wrist
4) with or without budget
5) looks of the watch

I think the 3 watches you stated, are all discontinued...
Try on all 3, one should call out to you...
Lastly, depends on your budget, full set?, condition, year of production etc...
Good luck & have fun deciding!
Do post a pic to share, when you have decided.

Thank you Bros. Btw, what would a reasonable price for a 2nd hand SD?

depends how much he quote u manz. personally if got the choice i would get the SD rather than sub no date. But den again that's only if your budget is at the SD range as SD cost more than the sub no date by abt 2K.

A 2nd hand shop recommended me to get a SD as it is already "extinct"(Replaced by Deep Sea) and it is of better value(Will appreciate in $$$). But, personally I am more interested in a SUB(without date) it looks cleaner.
And what shd I look out for?
Thanks in advance!!!
