Changing Sub 16610 to 16610LV

Hi,

Just want to find out how many of the sg-roc here actually change the sub 16610 to 16610LV by just changing the bezel insert? Just curious if this can be done then who will actually buy a 16610LV paying at a higher price. I might just buy a 16610 and a 16610LV bezel insert and change between a 16610LV or 16610 whenever I like. Pls comments.

16610 insert possible to get.
16610LV insert cannot get. at least not that i know.

16610LV is maxi dial (bigger markers) so they are not the same.

even if you can get a green insert (original insert), i find it funny.
like buying a toyota harrier and change the batch.
I find it ok if the other way round, green to black.

non original green insert can get, but they are not the same.
if my watch cost 7K, i will not fit a $12 insert.

Cause if the 16610LV bezel is large that the 16610 bezel insert. Then how it is possible to put a 16610 bezel insert into 16610LV, won't it be oversize? Pls carify on the doubt.

Look at the hour markers. LV markers are bigger.
hour hands are slightly thicker.

so if you have a green bezel with small markers, people can tell its not LV.

For the new sub ceramic is maxi dial so if the bezel insert is interchangeable then its totally the same liao as the LV once the bezel insert is changed, right?

nope... the dial of the new green sub is also in green... so it will never be the same...

I agree with u. I actually do know someone who change the logo of a harrier to lexus. I find it really funny esp when pple who know the cars can tell it is a "modified" version straight away! haha!
