My friend checked with the major ADs including Cortina and was told there is no price increase. Where did the rumour came from about price increase starting from last month?

when retails are selling at premium price in march, its becoz of rumors from news, newspaper and customers when they see the exchange rate of CHF...so they thought rolex is gonna increase the prices due to the CHF.. so when customers rushes to buy watches, retails saw the chance to increase the price themselves due to the demand....that's all...

Since March this year, Singapore shops have already been selling those popular sports models at a premium, higher than retail price. They have already "upped" their selling prices earlier this year. Now, with this price increase, maybe their premium will be even higher? I think this price increase is because of the weakening Singapore dollar.

Rolex Spore increase prices coz of Rolex Hongkong complains. Due to currency exchange rate, a lot of brokers came to spore to buy a lot of solid gold watches, hence Hongkong rolex made a complaint...hence... that's why there's a sudden increase of prices which many retailers don't have the chance to stock up b4 the price increase.

This increase is inevitable. Singapore Rolex did not increase their prices for 3 straight years already. Last time they used to increase it yearly, i even remembered one particular year they even increased it 2 or 3 times. Thankfully the increase is not that big. Comparatively, Rolex prices in Europe had a big increase of around 10% earlier this year in Feb while Singapore didnt increase at all.

Why is there a price increase in singapore only? Didn't read any news on global price increase.I guess it is due to the weakening of our sgd.
No a good news for us.
