16700 or 16710?

    Yes, RSC regulations to keep it so that market will not flood with sub-standard (used) parts. So, not wise to change if still fresh, unless you really sick of it...

    I am not surprise A series 16700 exist, but it may be cosmatic in the outlook but fitted with new movt, this is same case as latest M series Exp II that are all fitted with 3186 movt, as 3185 movt is no longer in production.

    The reason why I said 16700 only comes in pepsi bezel is because I read this from the famous website "The GMT in Transition"

    Here is the following quote from the site:

    "Also, it appears that the 16700 was only offered with the Pepsi bezel insert to distinguish it from the GMT-II..."

    GMT was introduced in 70's

    GMT II was introduced in 1983

    GMT IIc was introduced in 2006

    Yes, the GMTI is 'A' series which I think it is produced around 2000-2001 and the GMTII is 'P' series which I believe is produced around 2001-2002.
