  • Question : Accuracy of your Rolex watches

Hi all, I heard that there is a device for storing automatic watches so the timing would not stop if I stop wearing the watch for a few days.

Anyone can advise what it is called ? Any picture to show how it looks like ?

And how much & where to buy such a device ?

about +8secs a day should be not very bad...
sometimes it it due to magnetism if i am not wrong, can bring to RSC to regulate it.

heard that when u are resting.,leave your watch upright (dial face up), it will gain time. leave you watch face down at 3 o'clock, it will lose some time. Leave it face down on the crown, it will lose more time...

Can anyone confirm that it is true?

Yes, finally got such thread... I'm new to rolex n watches... Wanting to know how accurate a rolex should be, and how do we determine it, using what as a "control/guide"? Can normal digital watches do the trick?

should be around +/- 2 to 4 secs each day.

              Checking time? I dial 1711.

so if +6 sec/day.. 1 week will be 42 sec... if that is the case no need to service...

if 3 days 1 min faster how? time for service?
