I do not think Rolex watches are cheaper in the USA. On top of that, purchasers have to pay 6% tax on the listed price, and no tax refund at the airport !

I may have walked into the wrong shop (in a way).

Some places are more than 6% bro...depending on the state.

Usually it isn't much cheaper in the states unless u got lobang.

Well depends on what you are looking at...some are slightly cheaper.

depends on model, discount, state tax, etc. even within states, there can be a price difference due to state taxes.

It really depends on the city that you're visiting. If you're in New York, Las Vegas, or any city in California it will be very expensive .These are considered the "rich regions of the US".These places are also the typical touristy regions.

However if you travel through the cities in the Pacific Northwest- Seattle, Portland, midwest, or through Carribean gateway cities like Miami you can save yourself some serious $ . The AD's there are more willing to discount. The taxes charged are waived for overseas travellers. The rates also do vary significantly all through the US.
