Buying Rolex in Greece, Athen

The official price through most European countries is around the 8800 Eu mark, but this is a model that is never on display or readily available. The TT and gold models are readily available though.

I was in Athens last May 2011 and there are 3 Rolex AD's around the Plaka area. The Daytona SS can be hard to come by for walk in customers, but the TT and full gold are quite readily available and can be discounted quite heavily for gold. I would recommend Rolex Hellas in Syntagma square. The tricky part is the VAT refund and making sure that you get the appropriate customs stamps . The airport counter for customs is not that well sign posted and if you miss it without the stamps the VAT refund process will get very complex.

and the watch might be selling off at a prem rate, like rack rate of hotels...lol. Though listed at $14K+, might be selling slightly higher.

Seems unusual as the list for TT GMT2 is also $14k plus.
Thought the new Sub could be about $13,300
Could u advise where you got the price.
