I take it the term super casing means the larger casing
Maxi case, but can't tell if its ceramic bezels or not. Looks like it though.

    2009 - 2012 Basel Rolex

    Hi rolex lovers,

How would you like the sweet old SD4000 series to be relaunched in the New cerachrom bezel in the New Sub Case at Basel 2009? 16600LN.....

Do you think this is possible? as this is different from the chunky big bro of the deep sea where you need to take a submarine and dive out from it to test its limit.....

the DSSD, I think, is testament that the big watches fad is potentially too big a market for Rolex to ignore for long.the features on the DSSD such as the ceramic bezel insert, Parachrom-Blu hairspring, improved bracelet/clasp, supercase, maxi dial are all good improvements that we have come to expect from Rolex. But I think amidst the intense anticipation, most would also expect the aesthetic changes to detract little from the current SD. So with all the wordings such as the "Original Gas Escape Valve" and "Ring Lock System" on the new DSSD, it was IMO an overkill and I personally think it made the watch look unattractive. but having said this, I'm sure it will have its admirers..
