A good example is the old gmt2. Take a look at what they are selling before discontinue and what they are selling now. Preowned pieces value increased with complete set (box and paper) even more.

A stainless steel zenith daytona look at what they selling eight years back and what they are selling now. Although new daytona has new and better movement but their price cannot beat zenith daytona.

    wah! so mysterious ah!

My take is, if the sub is discont. than price will go north. but if a new improve sub is launch, price of old sub will remian or may even drop alittle. will depend what improvements too.

Discovery... Hey guys, nt sure if u guys discover something special abt that main rolex page. If u guys let the page load long enough, there is something special going on. Haha. When u move ya mouse cursor, there will b "firefly" following ya cursor and it could lighten up certain part of the pic. Haha. Could anyone figure out what is those "fireflies" trying to tell us? Haha

why snap up current styles SD/Sub?

does it mean that when newer versions are introduced...prices of older models will go north? or will it be the other way round because msot pple will go for newer models and dump older models making them cheaper? which is more a likely scenerio?

honestly, i hope they'll intro newer versions for SD rather than Sub....knowing myself..i'll likely sell my TT Sub to get newer models (if the size is bigger than current 42mm..if size remains unchanged...i won't sell mine)

    cheers

hmm, it's kinda blurry but my bet is on the subbie even though the heart is with the SD. from a $$$-making point of view, it only makes perfect sense to upgrade the subbie. SD will remain the ultimate dive watch while subbie will strnegthen it's position as the icon of rolex sports.

My bet is on the Sub. Jellyfish don't go down that deep.

wah screen really keeps people in suspense, only showing less than a quarter of the bezel.
