If so, what is the price? I am based in KL.

X2. was also pretty affected by very fine hairline scratches initially but after a while, i just can't be bothered unless it's a huge dent or sumtin like that.

    That is a fair comment.

Can anyone upload any pictures of how a really used polished link looks like after some significant usage? If it really looks bad, then a yearly polish is in order. Otherwise, the brushed type can go for a good 5-6 years between polish.

The polish link on the watch may have significant hairline scratches in matter of time. Try not to rest it on any rough surface or knocks.

    Rolex Polished Links

Can someone advise me if the polished link found in the newer Rolex is difficult to maintain. I am thinking of getting the GMTIIc but worried that it would look really bad in no time. I intend to wear it daily without wanting too much hassle of taking too much care.

I present have the Sub with the brushed steel and found some scratches on them. I also occasionally where my Sub TT which has the center polished link. There are some fine scratches there but not really noticeable.

What I am getting at is if I were to use the polished link type as what I would on my brushed steel sub, would it go so bad that it looks faded?
