Thanks for replying. In fact, when he told me such a ridiculous story, I instantly dismissed it as a myth. As of now, I am still checking for the best prices. I will be buying my first New Rolex next month.
Enjoy your hunt. Not such thing Hong Kong ad = Hong Kong movement etc kinda story.... Cheers.
Just another small small small small watch user ....

Huh? HK has more varieties as hk is a free port, no import tax or gst etx but prices are more
Xpensive due to "no money no talk" and higher overheads.

He may be right about vintages pieces (especially sports series subs etc) and was also right on Modern models. Some small rolex parts are sourced from Asia but rolex is still Assembled in Swiss. Master max bliss aka FP will can answer all these myths.

Bro,,, Right, thanks for your comment. A friend back in Singapore just told me I could get a LN for SGD8,775.00 as one of her friend just bought one last month. So, with my latest quoted from HKG and the price in SGP, I guess it is not much of a different.

Anyway, I do not believe what my friend said. Although, I am not a watch collector, I do keep updated information of what I would want in my life. No worries, whether I buy my Rolexes in Hong Kong or back home, I will take the necessary precaution to ensure it is the genuine article. Thanks guys for the comments, replies and concern.
