Is it truth that when you send your rolex watches to outside servicing, they usually mark the inside with "signature" of the back cover....

I have sent my watches for servicing by a reputable watch technician and he will the watch with last servicing date with a erasable marker pens that can be wipe off this is to to indicate the last servicing done for the next person who needs to perform servicing to know.."He could not just wear a watch.
