          Not always right.

Some people buy gold also lose money.

Some buy scrip metal make big money.

Watches take a very very loooong time to make money.

It will not happen when the cows come home.

Maybe wait until your grandson become grandfather.

In general, if the usual brands of AP,PAM, rolex, 2nd hand is cheaper than bnib... so slight depreciation along the way. Speed of depreciation will depend on the brand and/or the model

                sad but true.
BEfore I started this watch thing, I would hear people telling me that buying a watch is an investment.
It's not. Or if it is, the appreciation is looooong. Inflation probably more than offsets it.

Watches are never investments and not all things are measured by monetary value. They are things that you enjoy. If they are something you treasure, the instrinsic and other non monetary value will never depreciate but will only appracite over time... Just 2 cents worth for the day cheets bros and sis

15% should be the max if no conditions change, lower than that, ppls are just low balling....

I know some ADs are aelling certain models above recommended retail price. So, you might have higher depreciation. Watch out the buying price as well if you r worried abt depreciation of your time piece.
