I see. I suppose I will change it back to a leather strap to make it more wearable. Any recommendations?

Any idea where I can get a good leather strap for the DJ in CBD?

Is there such a thing as genuine Rolex leather straps that I can purchase? Or should I be looking at third party straps?

again up to you. From my experience the rolex straps are not very well made, i manage to wear one within nine months

Phew...that means I am right...haha the watch is original solid gold

As for bracelet ah...let me ask you something la...do you want to keep it? I do have a suggestion if you want to sell it away, get another aftermarket bracelet for say 1-2k? I am not sure of the price also but there are aftermarket solid gold bracelets, just sell off this to a (NOTE) GOLD DEALER not the watch maker, and then go to the watch maker and buy the aftermarket bracelet. More or less you dun hav to pay much, maybe still got extra cash...

Genuine Rolex leather straps were not available at that era...so means dun hav. You should just look at third party straps. IF YOU WANT A LEATHER STRAP THAT IS.

I think I'll just keep my dad's bracelet and get a leather strap...even with a new after market bracelet, the gold is too bling for me...

In the end, I picked a brown strap...The salesperson recommended it because the dark brown compliments the gold better.

I do have another gold russian watch with a black strap if needed.

very nice, now all it needs is a nice polish, oiling session, and it will be ever ready to tick for another 30yrs (at least)
