    Patek of course

get the Patek, Bro. after all, you are letting go one Patek. AND .. the PP grey dial is awesome.

Rolex Daytona RG is more "in your face" - screams ostentatious.

Patek model you have in mind is totally subdued elegance. No need to show off, but tells everyone: "I've been there, done that".

No regrets if Patek, Bro - totally compelling.

I am myself tidying (read: selling) my small collection of Rolex watches.
Will be collecting a Patek Aquanaut (Jumbo, rubber strap) end of this month. Cheers.

Hi , I've alry got a PP , but now thinking of trading it for either the RG or WG Daytona or PP 5146G , so if i get the rolex , there be no more patek in my collection and i really love to own one PP in my collection .
What a tough decision , anyway i have till end of the month to consider .

Rolex DD , alry got one YG , SS daytona also have liao , the reason i wanna sell all this is because i dun wanna keep so many watch , just want a PP , AP and my DD in my collection .
So at this point of time ,i will only consider the PP 5146G or daytona WG or RG .
Thanks again for your advise .

IMHO...Look at Eric Clapton / Paul Newman SS Daytona, simple & nice yet value rise like no Taukey business...
SS Daytona makes you look younger & classic, anytime demand & resale is there. Get a new SS daytona & a classic SS daytona.
    A classic Daytona is identity.

RG / YG Daytona only attracts attention, woo it's a Gold Daytona, so what.
    poor resale value.

Dress Watch / Business deals = Rolex Day Date

Thanks for your advise , yap agreed that SS daytona is nice but IMHO the WG or RG Daytona is even nicer . But i'm leaning towards the PP 5146G , rolex SS sports model is just too common and i'm not those vintage guy , anyway for sports model , i will rather choose a Pam or AP RPP anytime compare to rolex , Rolex is a very good watch , but just feel that it dun look too nice with its 40mm size with bracelet on my wrist , after i got my pam last year , i fell in love with the leather or rubber straps watch .
BTW would really love to see your 5146J , do you think its possible to post some pics of your PP for us to drool ?
This Pam poison..hmm alot of my friends after they wore pams...become total converts

RG Daytona. It would save the trouble to reset the watch since it is rotated among your collection. If not, the PP would be on winder most of the time than on the wrist. But most important, buy what you like.
