The latest quote I have got for Milgauss GV is S$9694. As I enquire about it over email, I believe they don't want to give me the discounted price over email. Any recommendation on which AD I should go to? Do they still offer 15% discount now? Should I ask about the serial number ("V" seems to be the latest or not? see this link.)
Also, should I wait until Rolex release new models in Basel 2011? Any news on new Milgauss?
Sorry for asking so many questions. I am a newbie here.
And suddenly have an urge to get a GV for myself....NOW..:P

Page not found. But if im not wrong, you are probably referring to when Milgauss is 1st launched 2 years ago or so. Prices went up to as much as 18k if not more when it is 1st launched as it was very hot and supply is not enough to meet the demand.Originally posted by callanchew View PostWant to get the New “Rolex Milgauss 116400 GV (Green Crystal, retail $9,709)

After which when the supply caught up, the prices drop back to retail price. If im not wrong, the retail was around $9.2k last year and $9.7k now. So, as with all other rolex, prices will increase every year.
Lastly, pre-owned or not really depends on you. $7k+ seems pretty reasonable. But if you are willing to pay $7k plus, i would rather pay $1k+ more for a new one since the difference is not that great. But that's just me.
Other experts, please feel free to correct me if im wrong as im also a newbie

Do a search in the forum. Much has been discussed on this set of newer serial numbers. This 'phenomenon' of ROLEX's change in the numbering system was sighted around the beginning of 2010. That should be after the 'V' series (2009). Why? Well I am still wonderingOriginally posted by cipher View PostI got myself a new Milgauss GV last weekend from AD. I notice that the serial number is not the normal V series. It has 40E8ZXXX as serial number. Anyone can comment about this serial number?
