Hi all, feels great to be here, and this will be my 1st post, please to meet you guys
So, I got myself in quite a pickle: Love the GMT Master II 16710 movement (due to their hourly jump and independent 4th hand) BUT I prefer the dial of a more vintage GMT Master I 1675 (the tall and slim coronet is too sexy and there's just something about non-silver lining on the markers that's just oh so cool).
Got me thinking: what if I pull the trigger on a 16710, then search around for a 1675 dial, would they fit ? A friend of mine actually suggested that there is something sticking out from behind of a 1675 dial that might not fit into a 16710 due to the difference in calibers between these two models..
Please advise,
Cheers
