Thanks, but I am not a Chrono lover... I think it looks too crowded on the dial... personal preference. Besides, when will I need to time something...

Thanks breitling77, I kind of feel this way too, but spending too much money on watches is not my likings, therefore the dilemma.

Unfortunately, my pocket is only deep enough for another SS version.

Thanks guys, I appreciated those that give out their opinions on my choices here. I will stop wearing my GMT TT starting tomorrow untill I got myself a SS version.

I saw the my GMT TT attracked too many scratches than my likings. I will keep it in the safe and only use it for dinner wear when I wear long sleeves shirts.

Will any of you buy two Sport Rolexes with the same models but with different versions. i.e. a TT and a SS version.

I own a GMT IIC TT, thinking of buying a SS version due to its versatilities and can be used as a daily beater.

Of cause a Sub SS will be nice, but compares with GMT, I like GMT better.

    Regards...
Why not bro..... for me though the S/S Version is just plain sexy, TT over rated...... ANY Full Yellow Gold is just so damn gangsta it;s unwearable.... YOU'LL BE SCARED to wear it in public.

I reckon your choices! I own both 116613LB and 116610LV. Actually the reasons why I own both is to complete the 3 different coloured bezels. Blue - 116613LB, Black - 116713LN and Green - 116610LV. In any case, I feel it's alright to own different models or versions of same design. In fact, alot of manufacturers do that in order to entice new buyers. For instance, AP ROO. There are so many different versions, yet no one seems to be bored.

Lastly, GMT is always a good and handy model. Though I own 116713LN, I feel 116710LN is always a versatile and classic model. You own regret.

I don't know if it's just me or what but the tt & ss model of the GMT-IIC do not look very distinctive. I think this is partly due to the design of this model - the polished centre links. Somehow, whenever I come across either of this model outside, it often takes me a while to differentiate if that GMT-IIC on that person's wrist is a tt/ss model. So for this model in particular, I'll probably just have one. And personally I will choose the tt version
