I have been looking around to buy my first Rolex over the past 2 months. I'm zooming in to get a new Submariner with date.

A grey watch shop offered a new Submariner 116610LN, 2016 stock with 5 years warranty, at $10,300. This is the final price he offered after few rounds of negotiations. Is this price reasonable to accept?

As this grey watch shop is quite 'reputable', and had been in this watch industry for more than 10 years, should I send it to RSC for verification? I'm worry that RSC might scratch the new watch which some members had experienced.

been thinking of getting a used one but the asking prices has been gradually rising up to $9k plus.
Even those that are outside warranty are selling fast at $8k-ish.

Do you mean brand new, retail price at our local ADs? If yes, it is $18,070 at the moment.

If you're referring to grey dealers' sets, then you can check the pricing from the Garage Sales threads, or some of the advertisers here.

I've a M series black sub and sold it off
had a L series patina and sold it off too
and finally I think I've come full circle by adding the LV.
just sharing my joy with all the bros here.
I feel I'm really at peace now, and will let go of the sea dweller which I really like as well. sighz....
