  • More info on this 1958 Rolex

    Would like to hear from those more experience regard this watch that my friend is eyeing on.
    The bracelet is not the original but the newer version, the rest i have no clue.

    Looks like the Rolex 6538 Big Crown...... more pics will be helpful

    If correct, it is considered a very very desirable Rolex in the vintage world

      Manage to take one of the front view. The rest of the case is just plain so did not take any.
      realise the crown is bigger and scratches in many place.
      Well too small for my liking but for a friend.

        Hmm I'm no expert but is the bezel original? I think there should be minute markings from bezel pip to 15 minute marker?

          The early Rolex submariners e.g. 6200, 6204, 6538 and 6536 have inserts without minute markers between the 0 to 15 minute quarter.
