Actually, both are 36mm, the same size as the regular 14790 that was discontinued.

It's strange, Audemars Piguet never mentioned the case size in their early press releases. When I compared the NF side-by-side with my existing RO, it was definitely wider by about 2mm.

Like you, I'm really regretting not picking it up as only 450 pieces were made, and it was selling for only US$7,000 at the shop in Shibuya!

Yes, it was DC probably in 2003-4 and is a 38mm (I think).

Aiya, actually the watch is sentimental to me not because of the fact its uncommon, but the fact that my Filipino business associate keeps tempting me to part with it! Ha ha, it keeps our business going and we always end up talking about this AP.

Actually I'm trying to source the Nick Faldo version which is 40mm, looks exactly the same, but the NF version's dial is polished platinum instead of brushed SS, centre of dial is waffled, and has an exhibition caseback with "golf ball" pattern guilloched onto the rotor.

I saw it in a secondhand shop in Shibuya Tokyo in Feb this year, going for about S$10,500, but without boxes or papers. However, I regret not buying it.

    What to do?
so bro, do you currently own bigger ROOs? Safari etc...
