  • My growing Rolex collection...

    Hi peeps,
Although I've been interested in Rolex for quite a number of years, it's probably only within the last 6 months I've started to really get into them in a big way.

My first Rolex was passed down to me on my 16th birthday, then 10 years later, the wife bought me a Stainless Steel vintage Rolex. Roll on 10 more years, I'm now averaging at least 1 " new" Rolex each month... which is now burning quite a hole in my bank account!

I'm not just sticking with Rolex though. There's quite a lot of other new and vintage in my collection. However, I'll just post the Rollie's for now.

Please enjoy my (quite amateurish) pics of current collection.

I couldn't resist putting this one into this section.... and I bet no-one will ever guess what it is or where it came from!

Thanks. The GMT is my second favourite of the bunch.

I'm not sure whether people know this, but did you all notice the shape of the Coronet on the dial? This is also referred to as the 'Bart Simpson' hairdo logo before Rolex made the subtle change to a more rounded logo.

Anybody guess what the last one is?

Has anyone figured out what the last watch is yet? I'm itching to tell you all.
              Clue. Not a Rolex.

                Hey, thanks!

I posted the pictures in the order of them joining my collection.
The last Rolex was a steal at only USD 3800.00 (submariner 5513). I have just been informed that someone at Lucky Plaza is selling the same one at a staggering SGD 13k.

                    That's a nice collection and a good price for a 5513.

As far as I know, everything is all still original on this. It was never serviced by the previous owner. It was a family heirloom but the guy had big money issues and had to let it go. When I found out he need the money to renew his car insurance, I did pity him somewhat. But not enough to stop me from making an offer!

If you look closely at the crown, it's not screwing in all the way, so it needs some minor repair work doing soon.
