The 179174 refers to the new model ladies datejust in steel, so V series serial number indicated is correct.

Black Santon probably refers to a black diamond dial.

How this info got onto your receipt??? Weird.

You should bring back the receipt and ask them where is the ladies datejust you bought??

BTW, the receipt shows the following information. Can someone tell me what is it all about?

The above information look 'scary' to me. Firstly, I interpret "179174" to be a ROLEX model which is definitely different from your watch (114270/14270). Secondly, the "V231674" looks like a set of serial no. for the current series, so I wonder how old (or new) is your watch?

As for the rest, I'm not sure.

You are correct leh. According to the Cert, it shows F996217 & 114270. However, those numbers are shown on the receipt.

"F" refers to the year of production, which is 2003. Then I am not sure what those numbers on your receipt mean. It maybe the shop's own reference?

Actually, I'm now thinking of getting a GMT Master II since I'm a frequent traveler. However, I'm thinking whether it is practical to get one to set the different timezone.

Any comments here? Maybe I should post it as a new thread. Any feedback?
