My first Rolex watch

Hi guys,

Just now went to Bencoolen Street. Initially wanted to buy a Omega PO, in the end, I bought a Rolex instead. This is my first Rolex.

In fact, I was there to send my 1950s/60s old Constellation for restore and thus, wanted to have another watch to replace.

Anyway, here's the watch. Just a simple one.

You are correct leh. According to the Cert, it shows F996217 & 114270. However, those numbers are shown on the receipt.

BTW, the receipt shows the following information. Can someone tell me what is it all about?

The above information look 'scary' to me. Firstly, I interpret "179174" to be a ROLEX model which is definitely different from your watch (114270/14270). Secondly, the "V231674" looks like a set of serial no. for the current series, so I wonder how old (or new) is your watch?

As for the rest, I'm not sure.

Both brands are good. I have only 1 Omega and I love it too. It is value for money given the price point.

keke... I think more to come in the future. Was deciding between a Omega PO or this one. Since this one is the closest to the Omega Constellation that I had sent for restoration, so I chose this one loh.
