I pay near 3k for the watch only, but condition is great, thinking of going for verification, worth it?

I think your watch is neither the 'dome' bezel nor the 'engine-turn' bezel. It is just a 'ring' bezel. I don't immediately have the pics to illustrate but the dome bezel is a plain, smooth & rounded bezel (slightly fat). The engine-turn bezel is one that has lines on the bezel.
