    Me and My wife's watches

    Hi guys, me new in ROC, just bought myself my first rolex. Got a resale F-series men size platinium bezel Yatchmaster for $8500. Is it expensive? No box but with cert. Haven't got it checked yet at rolex centre. Pls Comment. Here r some pics of our collection. Hope I did it correctly so u guys can give me comments.

    I got it at Tan union
    People's park centre. He seems like a nice chap.

          nice yachtmaster u have there.... 8.5k for a F series is a good price....

                      thanks guys for the very warm welcome. hmm... good price huh.. lucky me, didn't spend a lot of time looking for it. went to PK first, they had a D series beautiful piece without paper, open price $9100. Bargained to $8700. So I 'on' them. While the chio bu sales girl was fitting my bracelet, the other came up with the bill.. It was $9309, $8700 with GST. They must be thinking I chai tow or something. Thats $700 diff!! Shouldn't they tell me there's GST before I said ok? As I was about to stand up and leave. They immediately dropped the price to $9000. Still pissed, I left. I Went to another shop downstairs near the escalator. They had this 5 year old one selling for $8900. I told the lady boss upstairs selling $9000. She immediately took back the watch from my hand and placed it back into the showcase without saying anything. By then I started to panick alittle , my mind was thinking PK's YM must be a damn good deal for her to react that way. Nevertheless I went to Tan Union and found my baby there. Waited for a good half hour for him to get me the watch but I guess the wait was worth it. after what u guys commented.

                        just sent my YM to rolex centre to check whether original. Some resale dealer told me they can re-issue cert after check but i only got a receipt, when I asked the cashier for it, she just told bluntly certs only come with first hand watches. hehehe pai sei Anyway still got the old cert, just trying to get more value out of the $75 hahahah!!!

                          I agree...I dun like PK also...hahha. They put XMM there to jio ah pek to buy lolex from them..haha
