Hello, do u have any gold Rolex head to sell. I am interested. Can contact me at 90666896.
  4. The markings on the end links is just one on the checklist, the hallmarks on the buckle and the different placement of the hallmarks are all factors to look into when verifying the bracelet.

I spent some time observing and recording the different hallmarks and placements of the 3 generations of president bracelets (hidden/concealed clasp for 1803, 18038 and 18238) and I discovered you can tell the difference in bracelet even without the wearer removing the watch for you to check!

Very sneaky and smart of Rolex. This is one puzzle I will let the President fans solve, just place the 3 types of bracelet flat on the table and if you look hard enough.... you will find the answer ........
  5. Rolex Day Date complete models and movement history
Here is the summary of the various day date models and movements:-
    1956- 6511, 1st Day Date!!!
    1957- 6611, 2nd Day Date, 1055 Movement.
    1959- 1803, 1st 1803, 1555 movement.
    1965- 1803, 1556 movement
    1977- 18038, caliber 3055 (single quick-set), sold late 1978/1979.
    1988- 18238, caliber 3155 (double quick-set).

Caliber 3155 is the caliber still used today in all Day-Date models.

Looking for these to complete my collection:-
    1) a 1956 model 6511. Very rare because it lasted only for a year.

    2) a 1957 model 6611, 1055 movement. The first to be labeled " Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified" on the dial.
This new accuracy standard guaranteed the watch to remain within + 3.0 seconds per day.

    3) a 1959 1803, first 1803

    4) a 2006, 50th anniversary Day Date model 118348.
